Dr. Vikhram Ramasubramanian is the founder and chief executive officer of Ahana Hospitals. The need for holistic neuropsychiatric healthcare prepared Dr. Vikhram to establish Ahana Hospitals. Throughout his career of more than 15 years, Dr. Vikhram has served in various executive and leadership roles, in healthcare delivery and information technology space.
In 2009, he founded Ahana Hospitals, an 8 bedded neuropsychiatric hospital with limited resources.
Today Ahana Hospitals has grown to be a multi-location, 120-bedded brain and behavioral medicine facility, notably the largest mental health facility in Tamilnadu.
Trained at IIM Ahmadabad, he spearheads a team of more than 100 professionals working for the vision to provide the optimum care and service within available resources by assuring that people get their best hospitality.
Dr.Vikhram received MD in General Medicine from St. Petersburg an MD in Psychiatry from Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai, Certificate program in Geriatric Psychiatry from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow. He is the national convener of the Indian Psychiatric Society. His clinical research is based on phase III and phase IV studies of pharmacological trials. Dr.Vikhram’s core area of work is child and adolescent behavior and addiction psychiatry.
